Ankle update #2
Hospital visit tomorrow afternoon for an x-ray and stuff. Hopefully I’ll be allowed to take off my cast and begin physio.
A musical weekend in Brighton
I’ve been having quite a musical weekend in Brighton with Mr. Tom Scrace – On friday night we went to see The Brighton Beach Boys & The Psychadelic Love Orchestra’ as part of the Fringe Festival. Great to see some talented multi-instrumentalists, including band member Ralph Brown – aka ‘Del Preston’ from Wayne’s World 2! (one of my all time favourite films). They played through two classic albums: the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper. www.brightonbeachboys.com
On Saturday we went to see Africa Express Sound System at the Dome, as part of The Great Escape Festival, which was epic! – We wished it could’ve carried on for longer, but was still amazing to have so many different music styles blended together, with musicians from The Noisettes and Gorillaz to name a few. www.africaexpress.co.uk
Terje wins his 7th Mt. Baker Banked Slalom title!
I only just found this out a couple of weeks ago – strange that it hardly got any coverage…

Ankle update
Had new bandages put on my ankle today and got to see ‘the wound’ for the first time….looking pretty tidy! Foot is looking a bit odd after being strapped inside a plastic boot for 2 weeks. I couldn’t resist having a quick feel of the affected area and I’m sure I could feel the straight edge of the metal plate inside…WEIRD!!!!
‘Das Snowboard Test’
With this year’s board test coming up soon, what better way to get in the mood than with ‘Das Snowboard Test’ – A bilingual board test bonanza with Tom Scrace and myself!

Successful ankle op yesterday
Back home after my ankle operation yesterday. Fortunately they didn’t need to put any extra pins or screws in so i’ve just got a small titanium plate running down the side of my ankle which is holding the fracture in place. The feeling has come back to my foot after yesterday’s numbness so i’m now making full use of the painkillers!
Welcome to the new Andywebbsite!
My brother Neil has been working hard making changes to my website so that I can update stuff more easily myself, especially the blog so they’ll be a lot more regular updates from now on!
Make sure you check out the new photos and edits from this winter and also the ‘Random Video of the Week’!
